News Desk

To celebrate our 30th Birthday (Happy Birthday to us!) we are hosting a wonderful day of everything fibre.  On Sunday, 9 October 2016 we hope you can join us at the Sisters of Mercy Convent in Singleton, the heart of the Hunter Valley, NSW between 10am and 4pm.

There will be workshops, demonstrations, retail vendors, food, music and even a place to sit, socialise and practice your craft.

The Singleton Visitors Information Centre have organised accommodation packages for anyone who wishes to make a weekend of it and soak in the sights of everything the Hunter Valley has to offer from wine to chocolates and everything in between.  Contact them via their website: www.visitsingleton.com or by phone:  1800 449 888 or by email:  This email address is being protected from spambots. If you would like to have a stall or give a demonstration or be involved in any other way, please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Lock the date in now, it’s going to be a great event you won’t want to miss!

As the Guild newsletter is issued only 4 times a year, it isn’t always possible to keep all members up-to-date with what is happening in the Guild. From February 2015 a small news sheet with “bites” of information, and digitally (hence “Bytes”) will be sent out by email on or about the 15th of each month.

You can receive KG Bytes by logging into your account on the website and changing the box “Do you wish to receive other correspondence by email?”  If you haven’t logged in before, details of how to do this are on the front page of the website.

We do hope you enjoy it.  If there is anything you’d like us to include in the next or future issues, please let us know.
